Maritime Arbitration Commission at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Maritime Arbitration Commission at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a permanent arbitration institution founded in 1994 in accordance with the Law of Ukraine On International Commercial Arbitration of 24 February 1994. Its activities are regulated by the abovementioned Law, the Statute of the MAC at the UCCI annexed to the Law, and the Rules of the MAC approved by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The MAC settles disputes arising from contractual and other civil relationships in the area of merchant shipping, irrespective of the nationality and the seat of business of the parties and in accordance with its Rules.
