| Presentation | The Arbitration Institute of the Chamber of commerce is an independent entity within the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) for dealing with arbitration matters. |
| Functions | The Arbitration Institute assists in the settlement of domestic and international disputes in accordance with the Rules of the Institute.
It also assists in the settlement of disputes in accordance with other rules adopted by the Institute, such as its conciliation Rules (1988), its Procedure and services under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules (1988), Rules for Expiedited Arbitration Procedure (1995) and Insurance Arbitration Rules (1996).
Pursuant to its own decision in each case, the Arbitration Institute assists in proceedings which take place in a manner that differs wholly or partly from that contemplated by the rules referred to above.
The Institute provides training, education and information concerning arbitration matters. |
