| Presentation | The International Commercial Arbitration Court of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova was established in 1994 to administer commercial arbitration related to foreign trade. The Arbitration Court is a permanent, non-corporate, non-governmental and independent institution. The objective of the Arbitration Court is to promote internal and international commercial arbitration as well as conciliation and other ADR processes, in order to enhance the business environment in the Republic of Moldova. |
| Functions | Pursuant to its Regulations the Arbitration Court has the following duties: To administrate commercial arbitration disputes, whether national or international; to provide a consultation procedure by the secretary of the Arbitration Court; to promote international cooperation with similar arbitration institutions; to promote the inclusion of arbitration clauses in contracts. |
