| Presentation | The Arbitration Court of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a permanent court of arbitration established by the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the settlement of disputes arising out of contractual and other civil law relationships, including foreign trade and other international economic relations. It is a non-governmental institution. The Law of the AC of the ECCI was adopted in 1991, and the Rules of the Arbitration Court of the ECCI were affirmed by the Presidium of the ECCI in 1992.
By 2002 the AC was receiving more than 20 statement of claims a year, about 2/3 of them international;
Most disputes brought before the AC arise out of contracts of purchase, employment, loan and lease contracts.
